Who are we?
FinCredit360 is an independent comparison website for consumer loans, with sections for Spain, Mexico, Romania and South Africa. In South Africa we compare 6 online loan options: two direct lenders and four loan-matching services.
We are not a bank, a credit provider, a credit broker or a debt counsellor. We do not grant loans, we do not take applications and we are not the website of any brand we compare.
How do we compare loans?
We read each provider’s own website and record the facts that matter before you borrow:
- who lends the money, with the company name and the registration numbers the provider shows;
- the amount, the term and the requirements;
- the cost example or rate range the provider publishes, quoted as published;
- how the application works and how to contact the provider.
Each review shows the date we checked it and links to its sources. If a provider does not publish a figure, we say so neutrally rather than guess. We do not publish ratings, star scores or customer reviews, and we never promise approval: that decision belongs to the lender after its affordability assessment.
How do we make money?
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you click “See offer” or “Apply”, the click goes through the affiliate network Leadbit, and if you apply, the provider may pay us a commission. You pay nothing extra.
The order of the offers is an editorial selection and may reflect commercial agreements. Commissions never change the facts we show: amounts, terms, costs and requirements are always the ones the provider publishes.
Why compare before you apply?
Online loans in South Africa look alike at first glance, but the details differ a lot: one provider lends its own money, another forwards your request to several lenders; one publishes a daily rate, another an APR range or a full cost breakdown. Seeing them side by side on equal terms saves you time and helps you pick the loan that fits your budget.
That is why every review on FinCredit360 follows the same order: what the provider offers, the amount and term, the published cost, the requirements, the steps to apply and who is behind the service. Start with the loan calculator to size your instalment, then open the reviews that match your amount.
How can you contact us?
Write to hello@fincredit360.com if you spot an outdated fact, have a question about the site or want to suggest a provider.
For questions about a loan you applied for, contact the provider directly: we have no access to applications, quotes or accounts. Their contact details are in each review, for example on the Century (CreditZA) and Jabulani Money pages.
